We believe these are probably some of the best in-ear (IEM) earphones under $150.00 in Canada. Don't let the single driver fool you, these things sounds great. Packed with a Dynamic Micro Driver brings music to life while providing solid bass response. Intelligently Shure included their detacable cable design with the SE215's. This ensures if you do walk away from your laptop while still connected too many times, you can replace the cables seperately. Passive sound isolation allowing you to shut out unwanted noise. This works if you are an on-stage muscian or you're using them on-the-go.

These have a nice low profile fit and the soft foam tips (multi-sizes included) make for a comfortable fit for long periods of time. Included is also a Shure Carry Case for your IEM's. Sound Isolating earphones with single dynamic microdriver and detachable wireform cable.

The SE215 includes:

  • Fit kit - S/M/L black foam sleeves, S/M/L soft flex sleeves
  • soft case
  • nozzle cleaning tool.
  • Available colours - CL: clear/translucide or K: black/noir

Nice fit. Comfortable. Good overall sound - I like the bass and feel like the music comes alive for me, especially in the mids. Good bass and excellent noise-cancellation. I tried UE and B&W C5's from similar priced earphones but think these were the nicest.

These are a great starting pair of IEM's for someone who knows that they're tired of cheap, crappy sounding apple earbuds and want to try some earphones with higher quality sound, but also don't want to spend hundreds of dollars.

When I first looked into high quality high fidelity earphones I was amazed at how expensive they can get, so let me tell you that the SE215's at around $100 is a great price.

These earphones have a great, neutral sound signature, so all your music will be heard exactly as it was recorded. This will also mean that badly mixed recordings will sound even worse, as these headphones do not mask flaws. The bass is lacking a bit, however the mids and highs are extremely clear, and the noise isolation is great! I've had mine for two years and the cable recently crapped out, which is expected after such hard use... (I used them while running, biking, working out, football practice etc...)

These are probably the best value for your money. You get a pair of high fidelity headphones that aren't super expensive (I know around $100 for earphones will seem super expensive at first, but don't worry it will go away,) which means that you will be able to travel comfortably with them without worrying about breaking them. That being said the construction is solid, but it could be better. The earphone housing is all plastic, and the cable has a tendency to split, the iPhone microphone cable is even worse for that...

These are a great pair of earphones, specially as your first pair of high fidelity, neutral sounding IEM's.

Would highly recommend.

This is my second pair of Shure earphones (SE210's) so I knew what to expect: great sound value for the price, comfortable over-the-ear fit and robust construction. I definitely love the enhanced bass but without sacrificing the clarity of the mid and high frequency range much. These phones require a proper ear seal to produce the best sound so there are three different sizes of tips to choose from.  However, changing tips required a moderate amount of effort.  Outside noise isolation is excellent with the supplied foam tips.

The shopping experience from headphones Canada was fast and easy. My earphone order was quickly processed and shipped.  I would definitely purchase other items from this company!

I just complete my first purchase with Headphones Canada, and I am very pleased. I ordered a Shure SE 215 headphones - I needed something for my in-ear live monitoring.

The package arrived fast, the tracking was very good, the product was as advertised , and I got the best price I could find during my shopping. All these are the ingredients for customer happiness.

The headphones have a good sound, they fit good, and they have a decent isolation in use.

Thanks, Marin

Just picked up a pair of these SE215 (clear ones). These are my first Shure headphones and they are fantastic! However, if you have crappy sound files they will continue to sound like crap!! I mostly use these during my commute to and from work and sometimes while working. The fit is amazing!

Headphones Canada just plain rocks!! Fast service; as advertised product. Awesome experience :-)

These are my first hi-fi headphones (Shure SE215) so to speak and I can say I'm blown away by the clarity and fullness of the sound. I cannot believe I was missing this much from my crappy headphones.

I have never been much of a audiophile, and those iPhone earbuds always did me fine, but I decided to venture into the world of IEMs. The shure headphones came well reviewed and I have been very impressed! Good sound all around and good bass. Only thing is it came with multiple ear pieces (which is great) but I have had a lot of trouble getting the original foam pieces off. That's my only gripe about them though! Very worth the money and anyone looking to upgrade from basic headphones will not be disappointed!

Really good earphones. Sound is well balanced and full. Much better sound than similar Klipsch and Plantronics in-ear headphones I have recently used. Sound Isolation is really good as long as you find the right foam and/or rubber fitting for your personal ear-canal. Initial impressions of build quality gave me a sense that they will hold up long term and justified their cost. The only criticism is that you have to buy a separate cord for operation with smartphones (which is really expensive relative to the overall cost of the 215's).

They work very well, as advertised. I've used them in the bus and in the subway and I can clearly hear whatever it is I'm playing without having to boost the volume all the way. They sit comfortably in the ear and don't fall out. Very nice product and quality for the price.

First of all, I'm far from being an expert, so please excuse my lack of "scientific" reviewing.

Basically, all I have to say is: Amazing product! I've only had the SE215s for a couple of days, and they're still in the burn-in process, so it's very hard to tell what the final verdict is, but so far, the sound quality is exceptional, especially for that price.

One thing that you must take in consideration is the fact that it may take a little while to get the wire correctly and comfortably placed over the ear, but once you find the shape that suits you, you don't feel them at all. Cable is a bit heavy, but it doesn't take long before you get used to it. Tips are extremely hard to take off, so be patient. I'm actually glad to know that they won't get stuck in my ear canal.

Sound wise, it doesn't feel like there's only one driver in there. Bass is powerful, but not overwhelming. Mids are clear, yet feel "warm", and the lows are actually quite impressive. Overall, very balanced sound. I tried them with a few different types of music, without EQ, and here's my impression:

- Classical: Amazing! Of course, it's not as "vivid" as with high-end IEMs, but you definitely can "feel" every single instrument.

- Rock: Incredible! Very clear and detailed sound.

- Metal: Hm. A little bit of loss there, most likely because of the music speed.

- Trip hop: Fantastic, particularly impressed with the bass/vocals mix.

- Jazz: Clear, but sometimes the bass can be a little too much. Issue fixed with the right EQ settings.

Finally, as an everyday pair of "cheap" (in terms of price) earphones, it's a must. It definitely lives up to the expectation. Sounds isolation is great, but I doubt it'll do the trick if you work inside a running jet engine. I know, what a disappointment.

Final final words: get them! And get them from Headphones Canada ;) price is great, delivery super fast (super super fast), and you probably already noticed the user-friendly website design.

I bought the SE215 and also the Aurisonics ASG 1-Plus online here as Christmas presents for myself, and before this, I've never purchased $50+ earphones / iPhone earphones. But oh boy! These Shure SE215 ones were definitely a pleasant surprise. As soon as I got them, I tried them out on a random mp3 song (don't even know compressed by how much...) on my iPhone, and immediately I was shocked by how much better they were compared with the normal iPhone earpods. For barely over $100, these are definitely well worth the money. I've already recommended to my friends.

Great value. There are better buds out there, however it would hard to find a better set of IE at this price. Comfort and fit is so very important with any IE... they fit superb, and are comfortable for long periods and stay secure during running and biking.

The sound is clear and accurate, however they are heavy on the bass with a proper size sleeve and a good seal. Too much for me actually. I switched out my normal Large silicon sleeve for a smaller size and thus reduced the bass to where is should be. This is a bit a bonus actually... now the seal is more comfortable and the sound profile is more neutral. However if you want mind blowing bass... use the larger sleeves for a tight seal.

Love them... and would highly recommend them.

Great IEM. I listen to classical music (e.g. J.P. Rameau) and popular music (e.g. Kayne West) mostly, and the SE215 is remarkably competent in either genre. The sonic quality fairly reminds me of how a Shure V15 cartridge sounded like. I would have given it 5 stars if only the right IEM doesn't hurt my ear when it is not positioned correctly.

People who wear [glasses] might want to take notice that it would take time to adapter to the fact that there's something on your glasses. But the rest of the earphone is very good, the bass is alright, the sound is very clear. And this would be a very good choice if you like to sleep with your earphones on, very comforting ! :)
